THE ADVENTURES OF TOM SAWYER – AUTHOR: MARK TWAIN
Author: admin“The Adventures of Tom Sawyer” written by Mark Twain provides excitement and thrill not only to children, but adults too. One is able to connect easily to the mischievous character of Tom Sawyer and his strict Aunt Polly. Always one to get into some trouble for one reason or the other, the gimmicks of Tom Sawyer playing truant etc. give way to interesting reading. His romance with Becky Thatcher and the subsequent break up are well expressed. The elements of watching a murder, fearing for one’s life, and the consequent feelings of owning to witnessing the crime truly make the book worth reading.
